LaserSoft Imaging

We had a photographer shot our slides, the slides are perfect. When we go to scan we get too much contrast, unable to fix in photoshop. Can anyone suggest how we can fix this? We have tried all the options, none seem to work for the contrast. Thank you for any help you can offer.

There is a check box in SilverFast software (Options > General) that says: "auto contrast". Please uncheck this box.
