HP 5100C, Silverfast SE 5.5.2r19 and Windows XP

Hello.

I've downloaded the SF SE Demo for the HP 5100c flatbed scanner, and it says that can't find my scanner. I'm using Windows XP Pro and the scanner is working ok with the XP builtin drivers. The error message from SF says that there is a file named SF_LogFile.txt with information about the error, but I can't find it.

Somebody knows any workaround for this problem?

If this is a SCSI scanner, please refer to our FAQ sites: "Scanner not found" > "SCSI"

This is a parallel port scanner connected through SCSI emulation via EPSTW2K. In fact, as far as I know, this is a 5P scanner with parallel port interface. I've installed ASPI drivers and seem to be working right.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

SilverFast for HP supports SCSI and USB scanners only, sorry  .

Then you should change your web about supported scanners. Take a look at http://www.hp.com/cposupport/scanners/s ... 02429.html
(HP Scanjet - Product Specifications for the Scanjet 5100C series).
There is no 5100c SCSI only scanner, and your web says that the 5100c is supported by SilverFast Ai.
