I'm slightly confused by the information on the web site.

Does SilverFast Ai work with Mac OS X and Photoshop 7?

It does, but there are limitations:

- only if the scanner has SCSI or the OEM has made avialable (USB drivers - eg Epson)

Polaroids work with SCSI. Epsons work with both SCSI and USB. If you access the specific scanner models download page you'll get more info. You can also check ou this page:

Thanks ilyons. I already looked at that page - which is why I'm confused! It says...

Several SilverFast versions are compatible with Mac OS-X operating system:

? SilverFast HDR
? SilverFast DC

? And for following scanners:
Agfa (SCSI)
Acer (SCSI)
Epson (SCSI & USB)
Microtek (SCSI)
PFU (SCSI)
Polaroid (SCSI)
Quato (SCSI)
Umax (SCSI)

... see what I mean? No mention of Silverfast Ai.

What do I need to download to run OS X , PS7 and my Polaroid SS4000 (SCSI)?

Thanks

Most SilverFast versions (beside demos, SE and special versions for PhotoCD and Tiff/JPEG/PhotoShop files) are called Ai. You will need the Polaroid (SCSI) version.
