LaserSoft Imaging

Hi there,

I had to re install Photoshop CS2 on to my apple lap top power pc. I now cannot find my Silverfast link under File-Import-?
Please can you tell me how to create this shortcut or do i have to uninstall silverfast and re install the whole package again?

I'm sure there is a simple way out of my problem but i cannot find out how to sort it.

Dear Diego,

normaly it sould work puting an Alias of the SilverFast plugin file located at /applications/SilverFast Application/
into your import folder of Photoshop.
Please note there are two .plugin files one is called "SilverFast (Epson).plugin" this is the one for you to use
the other one is calles "SilverFast (Epson_CS3).plugin" this is needed for Photoshop CS3 and later.

Do i copy the "SilverFast (Epson).plugin" and then past it into the import folder in photoshop?

Sorry this might sound stupid but i have had so much photoshop trouble lately I just want to get it right first time.

Dear Diego,

you do not need to copy the plugin it would be sufficiant if just create an alias(via command clicking the .plugin file) and drag this into the Photoshop import directory.

I am glad it worked out for you. When you install SilverFast after Photoshop this alias should be placed automatically in the Photoshop import folder.
