Hello to all.

A lead may be interested in Silverfast. My concern is that Silverfast is a plug-in so it needs a copy of Photoshop in the Mac that runs the scanner.

In their workflow, photoretouching is not done at the scanning station but in other workstations.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks in advance.

SilverFast Stand-a-lone Application

SilverFast HDR OSX demo comes with SF_App residing in a folder recognizing all SilverFast Photoshop, which is a small application running under OS9 and OSX that can bring up the SilverFast Plug-in so you would not need Photoshop. SF_App is residing in a folder recognizing all Photoshop plug-ins in that folder. You will be able to scan directly to disk. All SilverFast functions can be used.

Here is the link for the SilverFast HDR OSX demo with SF_App: https://www.silverfast.com/demos/HDR/SFE-551r03(HDR)OSXDemo.bin

Does SF_App only work with the SilverFast HDR for MacOS X demo, or will it work with current versions of SilverFast as well?

If so, please make it available separately so that we don't have to download the whole SF HDR demo.

Where does sf_app reside, once the demo has been installed? I can't seem to find a file with that name anywhere. :???:

It should be inside the folder into which the demo was exracted. If you still can't find it then download from here:
