Can I run both the Polaroid Sprintscan 4000 and Epson 2450 in an XP environment and make full use of lasersoft? Right now, Lasersoft doesn't work for my Spritnscan 4000 on ym XP machine. I will upgrade to latest version and get upgrade with enagfic tonight, but will that fix the problem? What's happening here? The error message says that is cannot start the Scan Start.

this is not the right forum for technical questions, you should have asked this in the functionality forum.
Currently LaserSoft can not guarranty full XP compatibility of any SilverFast version. As a rule of thumb you can say: when the manufacturer's software does not run either, you should not use SilverFast on XP, this is especially true for all non-SCSI devices (Epson2450).
Generally two SilverFast installations (for two different scanner models) should not interfere one another.
