AI not saving image after scanning

I cannot find anywhere on the client/GUI a button for saving the image after it is scanned. AI won't turn the image over to PhotoShop. I have the client set to "Save" but it won't save. Any suggestions?
Scan Mode for scanning to file directly from SilverFast

Dear jediwebdude
On the general tab of SilverFast's settings window you have the option of setting the scan mode to "Normal(File)" or "Batch(File)" (only with SilverFast
Ai) instead of "Normal" or "Batch" (
Ai only).
SilverFast will then open a window offering you the possibility to save in a place specified by you and in a few image file formats.
You only can change the scan mode from "Normal" / "Batch" to their "xxx(file)" counterparts when working from within a host application such as Photoshop. While using the stand-alone mode you will be scanning to file by default.

Thanks for the response. I was setup like that, and no window for saving ever opened. At what point should it open? I'll re-attempt tonight and do a screen capture of my entire monitor view so you can see what I am dealing with. I am using Microtek 120tf and PhotoShop CS with SilverFast AI.

Dear jediwebdude.
What exactly happens, when you select "Normal" or "Normal (File)" and the hit the scan button? The scan button is located at the bottom of the main dialog, below the general panel.
Do you see any scanning in progress?
Best regards
Eric.

Dear jediwebdude
please use SilverFast 6.2.0r4 or higher for Photoshop CS.
An older version could very well be problematic with CS and cause "strange" errors.
