I have had SF on my PC for four years without any problems. I have waited patiently since Aug 6 for 5.5. I installed it tonight and I can not even open it. My systems is a PC Win98SE 256 megs of ram.

Photoshop 6.1 crash / Update required

Please update to the latest SilverFast Ai version and your problem should be solved (hopefully)!

I found the problem. I was installing SF5.5 in the Plug Ins/import-export directory which it defaults to.On my Win98SE system it needs to be in Plug-Ins only. Thanks anyway for responding.
