SilverFast 8 Will not Start

Upgraded to windows 10 Pro 1511 and Silverfast 8 will not start. It is seeing the correct scanner but get "Silverfast 8 Executable has stopped working" indication. Have deleted Selverfast and reloaded from disc and am getting the same indication :cry:

Dear customer,

Did you install the latest update from our website?
A CD version could be outdated.
