Installation problem Ai Studio for SlideScan 6000

Have installed Silverfast AiStudio 8 for Braun SlideScan 6000 running on Windows 7.
Installation according to instructions. Neither SIlverfast nor Cyberview can use the scanner. SF is warming up endlessly when trying to scan, Cyberview never finished initialization.
Has updated the driver from the website, checked according to https://www.silverfast.com/problemrepor ... faq_id=132 (was already up to date).

Dear customer,

Please make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your scanner.

You can download it from the manufacturer's website and upload it through the "Help" menu in the CyberViewX software.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

I have tried to update the firmware, however cannot do it.
If the scanner is connected to the computer it tries to initialize endlessly.
If scanner is disconnected, the computer asks to connect it. When clicking Ok for the prompt it closes the Cyberview.
Thus, I cannot get into the program to update the firmware.

Found an error log stating
..\CyberScanner.cpp(590): error :Don't Load DLL Library

So the problem is in driver installation or in access to the driver. Anyhow, the driver has been installed and also updated.
Any ideas how to proceed?

Dear customer,

Try reinstalling the driver.
To do so first remove the current driver using the Windows device manager.
In the device manager right-click your scanner and select uninstall.
When prompted, confirm that the drivers should be removed.
Then reinstall the latest SilverFast update from our website.
(It includes the latest manufacturer drivers. CyberView does not.)
Restart your computer.

If that does not help please contact the device manufacturer.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
