I've been using Silverfast Ai3.0 with Nikon Coolscan for some years and all was well. I'm currently looking to move from Windows NT4 to Win 2000 (NT5) and so the system is currently dual bootable.

In Win 2000 I can see the SCSI adapter (working properly) in Deviec manager and the Coolscan is listed in "Other Devices" saying no driver is needed or loaded. Silverfast is installed in the Plug In folder of Photoshop 6.01. So all appears OK but when I go to import from Silverfast I am told that no scanner is installed.

If I boot in NT4 all is perfect so it's not hardware...

Is this s Silverfast problem or Win2000? Any help would be gratefully received.

David
