I agree except I am in worse condition. version 8 does not run if you do not have OSX v7. I upgraded. Now, I cannot run version 6 because it won't run under OSX v7. So I can't use the SF-210... So I don't bother scanning with the coolscan 50000. Again, fraud flagrant lie or incompetence. Take your pick.

Not true, you can install SilverFast 8 onto 10.6 or 10.5 as long as it is an Intel Mac

Correct, Version 6 is not compatible with OSX 10.7

It is possible to use the SF-210 with SilverFast 8 under any operating system.

Looking at the prior comments from Silverfast from August '11 ... "We are working on finishing the implementation of the scanners first, film holders and slide feeders will follow.". Did they ever implement this?
Does Silverfast 8 / Nikon SF210 Feeder / Nikon LS 5000ED/CoolScan 500ED on Mac Lion or Mavericks work?
