Internal Color profiles?

I use Spyder3 Elite to calibrate my Apple Cinema Displays. Should I choose this Spyder profile as the Internal ICC profile in CMS and as the working space in Photoshop or would working in Adobe RGB 1998 (as in the North American Prepress 2 setting in Photoshop) be best for color consistency? I am scanning slides for both print and web work? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Adobe RGB will do. The Spyder profile is just for your monitor and it should be set on your system preferences.
