LaserSoft Imaging

Hello. I am a new user of the Silverfast AI for Nikon scanners. I use it with my Coolscan 8000ED.

I cant find the profiles for Fujifilm Pro 400H in the negafix. I know that it should be in the Fujifilm>other, however there are only 4 other film's profiles but no pro 400H.

I am using the XP 32bit version. I am glad if you can provide me the solution. Thank you.

Are you using the SilverFast version 6.6.2r3 or newer?

If not please Update to the latest version.

If not or if this did not help please try deleting the NegaFix folder in the SilverFast preference directory.
The NegaFix folder canbe found in the same location as the preference folder.

Dear Ketelhohn,

I have tried deleting the negafix directory in the silverfast directory but it doesn't help. I am already using the latest version.
Are there any alternative solutions? Thanks for your help.

Did you reinstall after you deleted the folder?
That is necessary to recreate all profiles.

Do you mean reinstall the program? Yes I did. However there's still no Pro 400H option.
I also tried delete the whole Lasersoft Imaging directory in the Application Data directory.

Dear customer,

we tested this on our Windows XP testing machine and the film profile was correctly installed.
Please try the following.
Compleatly uninstall SilverFast through the Windows software management.
then delete the entire "LaserSoft Imaging" folder in:
C:/documents and settings/[your username]/Application Data/

Make sure the "SilverFast Application" folder in your C:/Applications directory was also removed.

Then directly reinstall the latest 6.6.2r3 Update from our website, you do not need a previous version.
