SF-210 and Nikon Coolscan 4000ED

Hi,

I have recently aquired an SF-210 automatic slide feeder, which works great in SilverFast 6.6.2 in batch (file) scanning mode; the only catch is that the software hangs after the last slide (i.e. at the end of the batch). I am pretty sure that there was a dialog asking for something like "maximum batch size" when I launched my first batch, but I just cannot find this setting any more. The manuals seem to contain no information on this either.

My setup:
Max Pro, OS X 10.6.4, SF 6.6.2.r1 (NikonSF), Nikon LS 4000 ED

I am happy about any hints - regards,

Bernhard

Dear Bernhard,

the batch size is requested when you switch from normal to batch mode in the general tab.

kind regards,

Hi, I also have a MacPro, MacOS 10.6.4, SilberFast 6.6.2r2, NIKON Coolscan 4000 ED and NIKON SF-210.

My problem: On trying to do a batch scan I get the error message "No adaptor/film" found. The SF-210 is connected, but does not transport the slide. Is this a hardware or a software error?

Regards

i'm having exactly the same problem, same error message.
i've scanned some sets of slides successfully with the same scanner setup a few months ago, but with a lower release of silverfast 6.6.x.
now, after after upgrading it to the most recent version, i cannot get it to work anymore. please help!

OSX 10.6.6 macpro 8 core, 12G RAM, latest silverfast AI version.

cheers

ok, fortunately, the problem seems to be resolved after removing and removing and reinserting the SF-210 module... :)
