LaserSoft Imaging

trying to install the demo of silverfast for the nikon4000
The nikon software works fine however the TWAIN plugin os silverfast does not. When selecting it as a twain software it brings up the silverfast splash screen and searches for devices but it cannot find the nikon scanner...

it just says no device found..

any ideas??
