Silverfast for multiple Nikon scanners

Hello all,
I have Silverfast Ai for my aging-but-still-great Epson Perfection 4870, and I've been mulling over getting a crossgrade to drive my Nikon LS-5000 and -9000. Now, I'm aware that I will need to buy a separate license from the Epson in order to run the Nikon, but would I need to buy a license for both the 5000 and the 9000? I ask because the demo of Ai Studio that I downloaded for Nikon registered both scanners on start-up, and it would be fantastic (and a lot cheaper) if the app would drive both (depending on which one I had powered up at the time).
Thanks and best regards,
Jeff
