Batch Scan Problems, Nikon Coolscan 8000

I just purchased SI 6.6 specifically for batch scanning on my Nikon 8000 scanner. I see that this topic has come up several times. I can only scan one image at a time on my Coolscan 8000 scanner. I've spent the better part of the day trying to make this work. I have the 5 slide feeder and the 12-frame strip film holder/feeder. Neither will scan more than one image at a time. Is batch scanning truly supported on this model scanner? I'm on Leopard on an iMac. If there's something I'm doing wrong, I'd sure like to know...

Dear karkadie,
Batch scanning *should* work with version 6.6.0r2 ( it was broken in a previous version ), did you try that ?
If not, please do so !
If yes, please let us know what doesn't work as we tested it to work fine !
Greetings,

Thanks for the response. Using the Job Manager I am finally able to get the batch scan to work, although so far there is usually one of the frames that doesn't align properly and must be re-scanned. I will run a more comprehensive set of scans, slides and film, and if there are significant problems I will repost.

Dear Kevin,
good to hear !
There should also be a simpler approach to Batch scanning using the "document feeder" option in the General Panel...
But if the JM works fine for you, thats good, its more sophisticated anyways...
