Super Coolscan 4000 ED Silverfast 6.6.OR1 Not found

The CD Silverfast SE version Microtek SM i 800 was bundled with my new scanner. I have upgraded it to version 6.6.Or1 The program does connect to the Microtek scanner.

However no matter what I do, my Nikon Super Coolscan 4000 ED is not found. It is not found either by using the stand-alone program or the Photoshop 7 plugin. The Nikon scanner is found by the stand-alone Nikon Scan v 4.0.0 EN and by the Nikon plugin in Photoshop 7.So I know that it is working OK.

Do I have to buy another program and if so how much will it cost,please?

Dear methc,
i fear you will not have success with the Microtek version.

You could try out a demo that you download from the Web for your Nikon 4000 !

IF you like it you'll have to pay it, ask sales for a rebate as you already have a SF version...
