From what I have heard the Intel/Leopard compatible SF version 6.6 is not yet available for the coolscan 8000/9000.
Hopefully soon.

Dear hassiman,
as i write this our 8000 & 9000 are happily scanning with the new version ( tease tease ).

We will update our new Nikon branch within some days depending on our test results !
We are also updating our docs to show the major differences beween Nikon driver based ( old ) MAID versions and the new approach.

Greetings,

Nils Heidorn

Dear Nils,

Has the new 9000 compatible version which you referenced been released yet? If so, would you be kind enough to sned me the version number as well as a link for downloading the software and the updated documentation?

Kindest regards,

Rich

Dear Rich,

the Macintosh latest version in our download area (be it demo or release) now supports LS8000 / LS9000 in the new implementation, too.

Best regards
Martin

Dear Nils,

What is the version # of this release and when was it first available for download?

Will this work with Tiger & Leopard and does this version have any added functionality or improvements other than the Leopard/Intel Mac compatibility without the need for Nikon's MAID drivers???

Dear all,

we rectly released the new native Nikon version of SilverFast also for the LS 8000 and 9000
http://www.silverfast.com/show/newslett ... html#nikon

I would also encourage all of you to try the Demo Version if you have not used SilverFast before or still using version 6 of SilverFast.
It really runs very smooth and stable.
