SF 6.5.5r5 doesn't find Nikon coolscan 8000ed

Dear Silverfast

I have a Nikon coolscan 8000ed and Silverfast AI 6.5.5r5 on my macbookpro with leopard. My problem is: Silverfast don't find my scanner after my first scan. I have just done the first scan, but the second scan Silverfast doesn't find scanner.

Where is the problem???? Please help me quikly because it is urgent.

we're accessing the Nikon Super Coolscan LS-8000 through a Nikonscan piece of software, the so-called NikonMAID drivers.

However, it seems Nikon won't update to Leopard, cf. the statement linked in our product extra notes for this scanner:

As we've found this not appropriate for our customers, we're right now development an implementation of our own so that the situation will improve soon.
