LS-30 autoexposure and focusing issue

I'm using SF SE Plus 6.6.4r7 with LS-30 scanner. Last time I've tried to scan some frame-mounted slides I've found SF not performig focusing and auto-exposure when slide frame has been ejected and another one inserted. It is done only with first inserted frame, the next frames either preview and scan are performed without changing focus and exposure time.
It can be forced by clicking 'prescan' button when no frame is inserted into scaner - an error message is displayed, and during next preview or scan focusing and auto-exposure is performed.
I've SF reinstalled, also deleted settings directory, but it won't help.
