Workflow for batch scanning with Nikon LS4000 and SF 210

Postby LOWELL FRANGA » Mon Oct 08, 2007 3:30 pm

Hello

I have about 4,000 35mm color slides I want to scan but am confused about the proper workflow. I have a Nikon LS 4000 scanner with a SF 210 batch scanner attachment and Silverfast Ai IT8, version 6.4. Is it possible to color correct the slides when you batch scan them? Can someone please provide me with step by step instructions regarding the most efficient method to scan the slides. I have looked at all the tutorials, manuals, etc. but am still confused. I would really appreciate any advice provided concerning this matter.

Hi. Lowell.

Thanks for this great post. Let me ask one question before. When you say slides, which emulsions?

Best,
JAN
