If your version of SilverFast has this Icon then it should support the Digital Ice features of your scanner. Notice the first version is grayed out, which means Digital Ice is not active and the second one indicates that it has been clicked and is active. I believe your scanner supports various levels of Digital Ice (1; 2; 3; 4) and each time you click the button you will see a number indicating the selected level.

The reason I asked the question is that I am considering the purchase of AI for the Nikon 9000. I do not currently have it for the Nikon 9000. I am interested in ICE with negative film, I think the second level of ICE is for support of Kodachrome.
Thanks Jim

Ah,
Take a look at the supported scanners. I see the LS 9000 there, but I don't see a 9000 ED. I'm not sure if they are one in the same. I did a search on Nikon's web site for the LS 9000 and the only thing it brought up was the 9000 ED.

(You will need to do the search for LS 9000)

Dear Jim,
we do support ICE with the LS9000(ED).
Why don't you try the
demo version you can download at
https://www.silverfast.com/sf-download/demo/en.html?
