LaserSoft Imaging

Hi all,

I'm new on SilverFast, I would like to try this software that I read that is very good and I just download the trial version of AI version.
I would try with my Nikon V LS-50 new scanner even if I have also a flat scanner Epson 3200 Photo Perfection but it's off when I use the Nikon. I interested in to use SilverFast with Nikon and not with Epson, but I like also do not uninstall Nikon Scan (so I could also compare it). There are some problems to have both software or install problems (but obviously I'll use only one)?

sometimes driver conflicts between Epson and Nikon scanners appear.
Usually it helps only to have one scanner connected to the computer while booting up the system.
Then the operating system will - generally spoken - not load the driver for the absent device and troubles shouldn't occur.

If SilverFast is installed after NikonScan, it can be used in comparison, of course, however, please note that only software might be running at any given time without confusing the MAID drivers.
