Film strip positioning - medium format

I am having problems aligning medium format negatives in the Nikon Coolscan 8000. I can't seem to find the film strip position tool that is mentioned in the manual. How do I align the negative please? My version of Silverfast is 6.2.Or4.

(I may have mistakenly posted this to the wrong forum, but would really appreciate a reply)

Have just downloaded upgrade & it seems to be fixed. Sorry not to have done this previously.

OK - I have downloaded the latest version of Silverfast & the film offset position tool now appears.... but i can't seem to use it correctly. I have RTFM and STILL can't get the tool to work. It either seems to have no effect, or seems to preview ok and then scan part of the wrong image entirely. Is there any more detailed instructions that you could direct me to?
