very slight magneta cast on ls2000

i have noticed some very very slight magneta cast on ls2000, possible fix in the future?

Which version of SF are you using?

mr xanders, i am using 5.5r09, but now using r14, somehow i could not find the calibration icon in r14version, i purchased it8calibration, pls advise

If you are using Negafix, you can adjust the profiles for the typical film slightly, and save them with a new name. Not all the profiles are so very good on the Nikon scanners.

Or for Positives and Negs adjust the histograms manually, this will do the job.

I'am not sure about the IT8 on the Nikon scanners with SF5.5. The CMS "scanner--internal" is disabled during negafix, this has to do something with the diabling of the internal Negative Positive transformation, which is "hardware based" in the Nikon scanners. I would also like to know what is exactly the story of the IT8 on the Nikon scanners.
