I recently purchased SilverFast Ai 5.5 for my Nikon LS2000 scanner. (I never owned or operated Silverfast before.) I notice when scanning slides that it takes alot less time to scan at 8x vs 4x. I would have thought that 8x would have taken longer. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know why?
