Hi,

I am trying to get started with archiving with the Nikon Coolscan V ed and noticed that 2000ppi is the last green value.

According to this the scanner is 4000dpi

So why is 4000ppi not shown as green?

I played the video a few times but could not figure out what yellow means, I understand red is interpolated.

Dear user

the colors of the resolution slider are only for orientation. The maximum optical resolution is the second to last setting. Only the highest setting is interpolated.

You should test various resolutions and check which one gives you all the details in the image.
It is not always necessary to use the highest resolution if a lower setting already gives you all details.

Kind regards
Arne
