LaserSoft Imaging

I would like to scan with 3000dpi with my LS 5000 Filmstrip and Silverfast 8.8.
The resolution jumps from 2000 dpi to 4000 dpi.
What setteing are to be done to get 3000dpi.

Dear Markus,

That unfortunately is not possible.
The steps in the resolution slider represent the resolutions the hardware is capable of-
The scanner does not offer a 3000ppi value.
You can only set the output to downscale a 4000ppi scan to a certain value.
To do so set the Preset to 3000 and the Zoom to 100%.
