LaserSoft Imaging

Hi,
Brand new to LaserSoft. Using SilverFast Ai Studio. I'm trying to scan a negative using film holder FH-869M. When I insert the holder, the scanner only pulls in the tray to the first spot, and not the second spot where the piece of film is sitting. How do I get the scanner to pull in the tray all the way, ignore the first empty spot, and scan the second spot which holds the image?

Dear customer,

On the left side of the Preview you will find the Overview tool.

This allows you to select the film position.
If you can not see it look for a black double arrow at the bottom of the icon bar and click that.
Also make sure that the correct film size is selected in the upper left (next to the positive/Kodachrome/negative selector).
