I have a demo model of Silverfast 8.5. When I attempt to use the software with my Nikon LS-5000 ED scanner I get a message: "There was a problem starting your scanner. Please make sure your drivers are installed correctly." Any suggestions as to what I should do? Thank you in advance.

Dear customer,

is there maybe an older driver installed on your system?
SilverFast 8 includes a new driver and can not use older drivers like the one installed by Nikon Scan.
