Differences in IR channel

I use 3 scanners, Nikon5000ED. One of them creates sometimes pixalated or unsharp pictures with ISRD.
Reason seems to be wrong scan or interpretation of the IR channel.
This scanner does not have problems with Nikonscan, just with SF8.2.

Here an example of the same picture in 3 scanners.
Scanner 2 creates the pixalated pictures and shows a strange IR channel (in red the marked defects).

Any idea about the reason?

Dear customer,

The infrared channel of your second scanner is not able to penetrate the emulsion.
As you can see the entire "hair area" is detected as a defect.
That causes the pixilation you see because iSRD is trying to correct the entire area.

Have you tried reducing the detection value in iSRD?
The expert settings of iSRD could also help to compensate this.

This could be caused by the aging of the lamp.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
