Nikon 9000 ED on MacPro OS10.9 with FW800?
I can run my MacPro Quad Core on either Mac OS10.9 or Windows7, and in both cases, SF8 does not see the scanner. The scanner is a FireWire400 device, and I am using an adapter to get to the FW800 ports on the Mac. I use SF8 over USB with a Microtek M1 and it works fine. Is this using the Nikon even possible with this system? Should I get a PCI-E FW400 card? Any other ideas?

Dear customer,
The Nikon LS9000 is supported On OSX 10.9.
We use the LS9000 on similar systems and do not have any issues.
Did you remember to install the latest SilverFast versions for both your Microtek and Nikon devices.
If one of the modules is outdated it gets deactivated until it is updated.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
