Silverfast SE version for Nikon LS-20

After reading the SE 6 product description I downloaded the demo for this scanner with the intention of purchasing on line. I soon noticed a total absence of version 6 features, since you are offering only version 5.5.2r02 for this model, and the LS-1000. Clearly nobody will pay you $49 for an old version which does not do what you claim. Is there an update coming? Please LaserSoft, explain what is happening here.

Dear Duke,
please wait another few weeks and SF6 for this scanner will be available. It is - however - NOT at the top of our priority list, as this scanner is a discontinued model.

Thanks for that - I appreciate the rapid response.
I agree that these are now ancient devices, but if they are clean still generally do a useful job, given good software, which is why I am pleased that you will be doing the SE upgrade eventually. I'll keep an eye on the website and have my $49 ready ...

Looks like you made it - downloading now for a tryout.
Hope I've not spent my $49 while waiting.

Is the updated version released this week a bugfix or are there functional changes?
