SRD and switching between mask types with SilverFast Ver6 ?

How do I select between the appropiate mask mode;
Lasso,
Polygon or
Brush?
Is there a special click sequence or control key that enables the mask type selection in SRD?
Thanks,
John K.

Dear John K.
Click on the mask icon in the SRD dialog or the selective color correction dialog and hold the mouse button down for at least one second. Then a popup will come up where you can select the mask type.

Thanks Eric,
I could not find the Mask usage specifics documented and the SRD movie just quickly skipped over it. I guess I have been spoiled with intutive and well documented applications.
My only other problem is that sometimes my SRD corrections save and sometimes they do not? Is there a prerequisite or specific work flow to insure that the SRD work is saved?
How does one verify that that the corrected SRD mage is indeed ready for saving?
Thankyou,
John K.

Dear John.
The changes in the SRD dialog are always saved, when you press the ok button. In case you hit the cancel button, all changes are discarded.
However, there is one thing you have to be careful with: SRD settings should be changed as the last action before scanning. After you have set the SRD parameters, you should not change the resolution of the final image or parameters like USM, descreening or GANE.
