Best Settings for Medium Format????

Does someone want to share thier quick and clean favorite settings for Med Format positive Transparencies? Specifically I am interested in what output settings, Q factor, and sharpness seem to produce the best results on Color Landscapes. My results seem a little soft to say the least so it could be my sharp settings or the resolution settings. I use Scan Type 48>24 Bit Color, no filter, setting = Save and Image Type = Landscape. TIA for any help. 8) As you can probably tell, I am new at scanning, I compare the results with my Digital files shot at similar settings for the same subject.

Dear BestView

I am far from being able to offer a general "best settings" proposal, sorry.
IMHO, I tend to believe that things a such just don't exist...

However, I like to take the opportunity to point out that the Q-factor in SilverFast only is relevant for screened images.

(For the pros: To sublimate possible loss of quality from analog to digital material, it is said that one better does one's scans at the squareroot of two (=1.414... => 1,4 or 1,5). This should ultimately lead to better output results when the latter print of the scan is screened.
For users: Let the Q-factor at 1,5 and don't worry about it.)

Kind regards
