Scanning multiple pages documents to one single .pdf archive

Hello,

First of all, hello to everybody in this community. I am a newbie here. 65 year old, retired, IT hobbyist. French speaking from BE.

I'm brand new to Silverfast SE which I've purchased in replacement of my EPSON Scan which is no longer compatible with Windows 10.
One of the main reasons I need a scanner for is to archive paper documents in .pdf files.
Most of the documents that I have are multi pages.
So far, I have not found the technique to use in order to scan such multi pages document and end-up with a single .pdf archive containing all the pages.
With my good old EPSON Scan, after each scan the software was opening a dialog box asking : "Add another page or Save"?
I have not been able to find this kind of dialog in Silverscan. :-?
Can someone tell me if this very basic elementary feature is simply available ? I can always merge the scanned pages afterwards using Adobe Acrobat but this is a pain in the neck.

Thank you very much in advance for your consideration and any answer. Regards.

Georges

Dear Georges,

yes, it is right. it is not possible to create multiple page pdf´s with SilverFast. You must merge it with another program.

Best regards

Thank you very much for your reply.

May I suggest to consider implementing this capability in the future? This would be very much appreciated.
Btw : simple, free, Linux applications are capable of doing that, it shouldn't be that complicated... Don't you think?

Best regards,

Georges
