LaserSoft Imaging

I am using Silverfast SE+ on my Epson v750, primarily scanning my own black and white negatives. I use Adobe LR and PS for post-processing. What settings (bit depth, HDR, HDRi etc.) would provide optimal image quality for use in those applications, assuming that the intended output would be an enlarged print of some kind? I have plenty of hard drive space, so file size is not a great concern.

The 48/64 Bit HDR(i) formats are unprocessed archive files.
They are saved without any changes to be later processed in SilverFast HDR Studio.
The normal file output is 48->24 Bit.

You can directly scan for a certain print size by entering the intended print size in the output fields of the Scan dimensions' expert settings.
And entering the intended print resolution in the preset field.

You can also simply directly set a resolution.
Several tools (iSRD, USM,...) offer the 1:1 preview.
It allows you to check the amount of detail you will get.
At very high resolutions the film grain might become visible.
If you want to see the grain in your prints is a matter of personal taste.
