Is there a way to get my finished scans to open directly into Photoshop?

Hi bcgamble

The picture below shows the status bar and a button which can be used to open the scanned picture with the standard application.

You can set your operating system to have photoshop as the standard application for opening all kinds of pictures. By pressing the shown button, photoshop will open the resulting file.

Another option is to start SilverFast from photoshop "File>Import" menu option. The scanned picture will be sent to photoshop from there you will be able to work and save your images.

Kind regards

I upgraded to PS CS6. Right know when I scan it opens the photograph in CS5 (my old program). How do I change so that it opens in CS6 instead of CS5?

Dear hafajardo,

it depends on your operating system. There you must define the standard program to open pictures. You must switch it from CS5 to CS6.
