Multiple Slide Scanning and saving

I have a Plustek7600Ai 35mm Film scanner. I would like to capture a large number of slides in the fastest way possible. All correction can be done later.
I can find no way to (say) press Scan once and have 4 images captured from the slide tray, hopefully with the edges detected automatically but above all with each image being saved with a filename such as ABC001, ABC002, ABC003 and ABC004 whilst I manually move the slides through.
I then wish to reload the slide holder, press the scan button once and have the next 4 images saved as ABC005 throught to ABC008 etc.
Is this possible? Could you point me in the right direction, or at the documentation that might assist.
Many thanks

Not possible, your scanner does not have any automatic transport mechanism.
Kind regards

Thanks for the quick reply.
Even though there is no automatic transport mechanism, will the scanning software not allow some automatic appending of a sequence number to each file. I find I now have to press scan and put in a file name for each of the slides.
Is there not an option in Silverfast that it will add a numeric digit to a filename if it finds an existing file in the save folder. Mac software generally does that and I wondered if there was some way to make use of this feature in Siverfast.

No, because SilverFast does not have a way to know it is working with a different picture.

I believe the system does this automatically
Cheers

Problem solved. Version 8 does EXACTLY what I was looking for. I must just be a bad explainer.
Thank you for your time.
