I just upgraded the SilverFast SE 5.5 that was included with my Epson 2450 to the full Ai version. Is there any reason why I should not remove the SE from my system? I know, of course, that all the SE capabilities are included in the Ai version and more, however, is in some way the SE version more oriented to beginners (my wife) or in any way "fool-proof"? Also, how do I identify which of the several entries reported by the Windows Control Panel are the ones to remove?

Thanks in advance,

--Jorge.

I think there is no problem. It is possible to install both versions.

If you see the Photoshop IMPORT, there are two versions:

1. SilverFast(Epson)
2. SilverFast(Epson-SE)

click on one of both and you got the Version.
