When using Multi-Sampling in SilverFast for scanning color negatives,
how many samples should I use to get an effective reduction of noise?
Is 2 enough? Or is it better to use 4?
What about 8 or 16 samples, is that too much and unnecessary?
Or does the answer depend on the amount of noise in the scan and the type of film?

Dear Mustavio,
it depends on how strong the noise is and and how much time you want to invest. You have to find a middle ground.
