Is there a way to free-rotate the scan area in SilverFast to correct for an image that is not straight?
this was a topic (2003)
post7231.html#p7231** free-rotate, possible in the actually SF version?
we use SF v6.6.2r2 together with Epson 10000XL + transparent-unity
any ideia ?

Dear customer,
yes, you can rotate the scan area in SilverFast.
There are four semicircles at the active border. Move the mouse over it, so the semicircle will change to a rotate symbol and you can rotate the scan area.

thanks for replay
unfortunately it does not have semicircles at the active border. I was looking for s such function.
I can scale the active box, move it, but be unable to rotate …
we use SF v6.6.2r2 together with Epson 10000XL
it is running on a macpro with 10.6.4
maybe in the next update will be included again.

I think you have a
SE or
Ai version. Free rotation is available in
SE Plus and
Ai Studio.
