I see that the 6.6.1r5 update to SilverFast adds a NegaFix profile for Kodak Ektar 100 to the NegaFix sets for Epson scanners and Nikon film scanners.

However the new profile does not show up in the list at http://www.silverfast.com/show/negafixprofiles/en.html

I would therefore like to ask what one should do if one has a different scanner, e.g. Canon, Konica Minolta or Plustek? Does the new update not contain the Ektar 100 profile for non-Epson/Nikon scanners? Does one have to wait for another update to find this profile in the NegaFix set of other brands of scanner?

you are right currently this profile is only available for Epson an Nikon Scanners.

When you have another Scanner you would have to use a generic profile and tweak it in the expert mode.

Thanks - this is actually what I've been doing. But still, are you going to release Ektar 100 profiles for other scanners' NegaFix sets in the future?

it will take some time as we need to create this profiles manually for every scanner but we do plan to implement this profile for other Scanners as well.
At the current stage I can not give any accurate date when we will release it.

I just downloaded the Epson (8ba) 6.6.1 r7 release for my Epson 750V, expecting to see the Ektar profile in that, but sadly I cannot see it at all in NegaFix. Is there something I need to do to "activate" it or have I got the wrong version? Any help gratefully received! Rgds. Adam

the Ektar 100 profile can be found in Kodak -> Other -> Ektar 100
