I have SilverFast SE 5.5 and the scan resolution doesnt seem to work correctly. On a 35mm slide, if I choose a resolution of 6400dpi (the maximum) for example, I only get scans of about 8128x5479 pixels vs more if I use the epson twain driver and specify 2400dpi. The silverfast resolutions looks totally wrong to me.

A 35 mm slide is normally about 1.4 times 0.95 inches. At 6400 dpi a frame with this size would result in 8960 times 6080 pixels. That?s not so far from your valus and of course the values depend on the width and height of your scan frame.

Please also check your scale value. Set it to 100%.

You are right. I didn't even notice the scale variable in the Epson TWAIN driver. Thanks.
