Heidelberg Linoscan 2400 XL running on Leopard/Snowleopard

I could get a perfect conditioned Heidelberg Linoscan 2400 XL. In the list of supported OS, I see it only up to Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger).
Has the Scanner from LSI been tested
a) on older G4 Hardware only ?
b) on these older G4 systems only with "native" SCSI-Adapter-connections (native on a G4 System) ?
c) or also on Intel-based newer Macs with the Ratoc Adapter ?
This is, because I want to use in wit a Mac Mini and the Ratoc Firewire-Adapter on at least OS X Leopard or then OS X Snow-Leopard.
Will OS X Leopard and OS X Snow-Leopard be supported / upgraded with the latest version of Silverfast, as this Scanner is ony of the former mid-range
scanners - of course below the High-End Topaz -series...
Thankyou very much for your answers
