scanned red

Hi
I am a newb to all this. I have just got a plustek 7200 with silverfast SE 6. but when I scan it comes out red?

Good Morning,

do the scans with quick scan look ok ? if they do also appear red it is very likely that the scanner hardware is damaged.

I can see the photo clearly but all shades of red?

Ok if you got the same issue with the quickscan software(the very basic scan software also included with your Plustek Scanner) it is very likely to be a hardware related issue. If this is the case you would need to contact Plustek. If these red scans only happen in SilverFast you should get in touch with our support as we can help you much quicker there.
