Silverfast AI 6 Studio and Nikon LS9000ED

I have recently bought a Nikon LS9000 ED, and am disappointed to find that it apparently is not supported for SF AI-6 Studio.
I have the impression that choosing the standard AI6 will give me less functionality - particularly in shadow detail recovery. Please give me some guidance on my assumptions, choices of software versions, and pluses and minuses.
I am running winning XP-Pro, latest service pack (SP3) with a modern computer and 4GB RAM
Thanks in advance,
Fred Osterholtz

Messages crossed in the mail -
this is a duplicate -
Dear Mr. Lübker -
Is this also true for the LS9000ED? I do not know if that scanner is the same as the LS9000, as far as your software is concerned.
I do not want to waste my time on the demo - I shall buy immediately if you tell me that the LS9000ED is supported under Win - XP-Pro SP3.

Second reply to improve precision by repeated transmissions ;-).
Dear Mr. Lübke -
To be precise, my scanner is called a Super Coolscan 9000ED, not an LS9000ED.
Sorry for the mistake.
