Silverfast Archive Suite

The SilverFast Archive Suite seems to be a very attractive package, though reading through all the info I can find on this new package, I still have a couple questions. Is this a bundle including the full standalone versions of AI Studio and HDR studio? Is there some interface between the two programs that is different than buying these two programs separately and using the Launcher? If so, will these two programs operate independently. I would like to be able to batch scan in AI Studio, and develop these raw files later in HDR Studio. Also I would like to be able to convert and adjust the camera raw files from my Konica Minolta 7D in HDR. I have been learning to use both of the demo versions of these to programs, and am liking the results I'm getting. I see there is no demo of the Archive Suite , so I assume that it is simply a bundle of the two programs (but I don't like to assume anything when I'm spending money).
My scanner is the Konica Minolta 5400 II. Do I get the necessary 35mm It8 target with this suite? Or do I need to order one separately.
Thanks very much,
Kelly

Dear Kelly,
I am glad you like our SilverFast Archive Suite. You are right the suite consits of the SilverFast Ai Studio version for your Scanner, SilverFast HDR Studio for processing the 48Bit files and the IT8 target you would need to calibrate your scanner. We implemented some new framefinding routines which are espacially helpfull if you use a flatbad scanner to scan slides.
We allready got a movie of our SilverFast Archive Workflow:

Just to clarify, I am not clear from your answer to Kelly's question whether the Archive Suite is a bundle of fully-functional stand-alone versions of SilverFast Ai Studio 6.6 and SilverFast HDR Studio 6.6. Are the versions included in the Archive Suite identical to the two programs purchased separately, and can they function separately/independently? In other words, does the Archive Suite lack any features compared with the two programs being purchased separately?
Thanks for clarifying,
Tony

Dear Tony,
the SilverFast Ai Studio and the SilverFast HDR Studio included in the SilferFast Archive Suite have the same feature set as the standalone version.

I already own ai 6 for my Epson V750. I am considering doing a cross-upgrade in order to purchase the Archive Suite for my Nikon Coolscan 5000. I assume that the HDR portion of the suite is not scanner bound. In other words, notwithstanding that the new ai 6 license I purchase for my Nikon will only work with my Nikon, I assume I can use the HDR portion of the suite to edit HDR output from my Epson scanner as well as my Nikon scanner. Is that correct?
Thanks.

Dear briank,
It is correct, if you acquire the Crossgrade for your Nikon scanner, you will get HDR which is not scanner model bound. It means you will be able to work with files which are created with your Nikon Scanner as well as your Epson scanner without restrictions.
cheers
